As part of the open gardens weekend (www.vikendotevrenychzahrad.cz), we invite you to tour the A Rocha garden on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June from 9 am to 6 pm.
A guided tour will take place on Saturday at 10 am and 2 pm. There will be a treasure hunt for children.
We invite you to join us for a walk and welcome birdsong on 29 Apri.
We’ll meet at 8am in Černčice in front of the church and go on an easy walk (approx. 3 km), during which we will note local bird species and forest flora.
Bird ringing will take place en route, under the guidance of ornithologist Vojta Volf.
We’ll finish in the beautiful natural garden U Lánské cesty, where light refreshments will be served. Donations are gratefully accepted.
The event is intended for families with children and all friends of nature.
We recommend taking binoculars, possibly a bird or plant identification guide, and burritos or something to roast.
You are warmly invited to our first lecture of the year. We look forward to learning from the knowledge and experience of beekeeper Mgr. Šárka Vávrová.
The lecture will take place in our Keith Morris Eco-centre ‘Krupárna’ near Dobré on Friday, 27 January at 6 pm.
How can we use bee products to support our health? Did you know that honey and beehive air lowers blood pressure? Can we get rid of bronchitis without chemical drugs? Can bee products help get rid of anxiety? Can we learn to relax with the help of bees?
The A Rocha team looks forward to welcoming you. Admission is by donation.
